I’ve been having major skin issues over the past few years. I was always one who was told, “Wow, you have really nice skin!” Especially in high school. Now that I’m in my 30’s, my skin has seemed to take a turn for the worst. I may be possibly dealing with Rosacea or something, I don’t know. But I know I need to do something about it.
I cam across this great article written in a man’s perspective, can you believe that? The author, Paul Zayer, talks about the importance of eating raw foods, and what it does for your skin. Here’s a small excerpt:
I actually believe that everyone wants to be and feel healthy. I am also pretty sure that everybody wants to look good, and not only women.
What’s the largest organ in your body? It’s your skin! It gives, a protective covering for the other organs of the body. It adjusts to control your internal body temperature. And it’s a fine indicator of overall health and well-being.
People spend thousands of dollars on skin products to make your skin look vibrant and glowing. They’re all topical preparations - preparations that we put on top of our skin. But if we decide to spend a small percentage of the money we spend on these products on RAW FOODS, we’d begin to see an immediate change in the texture of our skin.

I am a SAHM of 2 Great kids who has struggled with weight all my life, getting up to 300 lbs and then finally changing my habits and working out to get to 136. Now up a bit again, I am back at it sharing my story hoping to inspire others.

Raw foods are key! I would also like to let you know about how detoxing heavy metals and toxins daily is another key, this pH balances your body which in turn is anti aging and giving your skin a wonderful healthy glow!
