I’ve been having major skin issues over the past few years. I was always one who was told, “Wow, you have really nice skin!” Especially in high school. Now that I’m in my 30’s, my skin has seemed to take a turn for the worst. I may be possibly dealing with Rosacea or something, I don’t know. But I know I need to do something about it.

I cam across this great article written in a man’s perspective, can you believe that? The author, Paul Zayer, talks about the importance of eating raw foods, and what it does for your skin. Here’s a small excerpt:

I have finally decided to try minerals makeup. This is something that I’ve been wanting to do, since I started caring about my appearance and my skin again. Since I really don’t know what is the best out there, I took it upon myself to try two different brands to see which one I like best. A big thanks goes to one of my new beauty blogging friends, Jami over at Bionic Beauty. She hooked me up with a couple of websites that offer FREE Sample Kits (you only pay a $4 to $5 S&H). Everyday Minerals - You select 3 shades of foundation, a blush and a concealer. Shipping was just only $3.97 for First Class, and I just checked the status of my order and it has already been shipped!! I’m impressed!

Signature Minerals - You get to select 6 of any of their Signature colors whether it be foundation, blush, concealer, eyeshadow or finishing veils. Not sure if it has shipped, because I don’t see on their site where I could possibly check my order status, but they have an 800 number that I could call to check, and I may do that.
