Well this last weekend was totally NUTS ! Off to the Sammy Hagar Concert and Scorpions ! What a blast from the PAST ! We took off Friday around Noon, which took 3 hours each way ! So we had to drive back after the concert because the next morning I had to pick our son up from his friends and drive to my moms because we were off to a Beer Fest, Yes a BEER fest in Monterey, CA. We ended up arriving home about 3:30 am Friday night and had to be up at 7 am ! Yikes ! I am too old for this ! Well of course we pull up and there sits a box on the front porch. It’s dark, well of course it’s dark it’s 3:30 AM ! So we pull up and its my order from my next order of Bistro MD. I figure I wanted to try 3 food delivery places and Bistro Md Was 2nd on my list So here’s the food ! Great ! Well I am all excited to check it all out and I finally get it put in the freezer, etc by 4:30 am and all I know is that 7 am is coming fast ! Headed with my son to my mom’s, visited for a bit and off we went to the Monterey Brew Festival ! It was fun but boy was it crowded ! Then it was back to our room at the spin drift inn on cannery row and out for an ” early ” night. Well that early night ended up being until 2 am ! Holy Cow ! I am getting to old for that stuff ! I did dance alot so hopefully wore off some calories there ! So we got home late Sunday afternoon, did some things around here on the farm, including taking care of all our new chickens and ducks ! Holy COW they are HUGE !! I’ll get a picture over the next few days and post it so everyone can see it !

So Monday comes, Son is at school, we run our errands and lo and behold another BOX on the front porch, this time a BIG box. Of course my husband who weighs, oh 100 lbs WET says ” what on earth is that ” . I said Oh, I think that’s my diet food. He freaks out and says ” You have got to be kidding me, AGAIN ? ” So I told him that Nutri System had a great deal and I was trying 3 so that was my 3rd ! So I am switching back and forth for one week, trying Bistro MD and Nutri System. Either way Cancun is coming with or without me so I need to get my butt in gear !

Also starting today, I will be posting my menu for the day, my workout and weight, but weight will be weekly as I am going to give up the daily weighing !

I am also going to do reviews on all of the 3 diet Meal delivery places I have tried, which have been Diet-To-Go, Bistro MD, and Nutri System. I will give my pro’s and con’s on each and let you know what I think ! I even have lots of pictures to show of the food

Ok as promised, finally, after fixing a few glitches on my blog here are the great pictures of the diet - to - go food packages I get each week like clock work ! First of all, the BEST food ! Wow ! Just awesome ! At first I did the Low Fat package they have available, then in the last week I have switched to the Low Carb Plan ! Just to die for ! Wow ! Who thought I could have all my meals prepared and taste this good and lose weight ! I was off of it for 2 weeks and well, just ate whatever and didn’t do so well ! What else is new ! Well now its hammer down time.. I leave in about 8 weeks for Cancun and I want to drop these last 20 lbs ! Can I do it ? I sure hope so !

Its all frozen when it arrives and I sort out the first 3 days in the fridge ( everything is marked on the back of the container ) and the other’s go in the freezer and I pull them out as I finish one day those come out to be rotated to the pile.. so far so good.. Wow, I cant believe our vacation is almost over ! Funny how you can prepare, plan and get ready for a vacation that seems to zoom by ! The 5.00 a gallon gas here wasn’t a factor for us to travel to Oregon when we left, but Holy cow, figuring out we spent over 300.00 just in gas ! I can see why people are sticking so close to home ! I am missing of course my little Rat Terrier, but more so I am missing my food from Diet-to-go ! I am feeling sad because I would stay here in Oregon forever if I had my way , but I need to head back home ! I am excited to get home though as my diet to go food will arrive Tuesday and I can get back on track of shedding these last 15-20 lbs that seem to want to just hang on to me like a bug on a car grill LOL ! I am anxious to see how I did on vacation. I just threw caution to the wind and enjoyed myself, and honestly, after being on the diet to go program my cravings have just totally gone away and that helped this week ! They also have local pick up’s if you happen to live close to a place that does that which will save you on delivery charges !
